Why ?

This blog is being made and being added to over the course of "9 Friday's" as Ms. Clemons (the new english teacher) has told us. The first book I'm going to start to read is Insatiable by Meg Cabot. The public library just got it in and I'm going to have to keep it from them for even a longer time and I've already re-checked it out, they're gonna hate me. Well, hopefully the book is good, and hopefully I can become interested in this book and not give up on it. Wish me luck and remember; these words are to live by :)

My second book is Nothing But Trouble by Rachel Gibson and hopefully it's a good book. Just by reading the back it seems like it's going to be good so we'll cross our fingers.

I interjected a little bit of Nothing But Trouble, and now I'm just writing about Dead Until Dark. If I need more pages after I've finished with that one, then I'll write about Nothing But Trouble again.

This new book I'm starting is called Nothing But Trouble by Rachel Gibson. It starts out with Mark Bressler, a retired hockey player, watching his team, The Chinooks, skate their way to a Stanley Cup without him. He suffered a very bad accident where all the bones in the left side of his body were broken, therefore meaning that he could never play hockey again. The Chinook's staff all believe that Mark needs an assistant to help out with things so they send-over live-in nurses and Mark scares them all away believing that he doesn't need a live-in. That's when Bo Ross, a fiery woman on the Chinooks team staff tells Mark she's sending over an assistant instead of a live-in nurse to which he isn't excited about at all either. That's how Chelsea Ross, a girl who has been in way too many slasher films, not being the star by any means, but by being the side woman who is killed off almost always first, ends up on his doorstep awaiting to be his assistant. Like he's done before, Mark tries to scare her off but little does he know that Chelsea has been promised a $10,000 bonus to stay with him and be his assistant until he gets better. Chelsea shows up wearing this colorful outfit that seems to scream out at whoever is looking at it. Mark teases her about that and anything else he can find to tease her about because he wants her to get mad and run away but Chelsea keeps muttering $10,000 under her breath, keeping her going. So, Chelsea comes back the next day and asks Mark if he needs help with anything and again, he tells her to go away and that he doesn't need her. She tells him that she wants to be put to work so he gives her mindless tasks like answering back to all his fan mail and get well cards and those are well over 7,000! He also made her do a mindless task like making her go into CVS to buy him condoms and such because he knows it'll be embarassing for her and he's trying to make her get too embarassed and leave him alone because he doesn't want an assisstant.
