1-66; Fake Boyfriend

This book starts out with four friends, Izzy, Vivi, Lane, and Curtis (the only boy), sitting at the local hotspot for upperclassmen, Chubby Hubby. All the "loser" underclassmen go to the Starbuck's across the street. They're sitting there talking about prom and Izzy, the high-maintenence one of the group, brought her pink scrapbook that she made back in middle school, planning for senior prom. All of a sudden they see Shawn, Izzy's boyfriend, over at Starbuck's making out with some girl around the side of the building. Izzy sees and marches over there. Now Izzy is the type that lets this dude walk all over her, this isn't the first time he's cheated on her. She asks him what's going on and Tricia, the girl he was macking on, was convinced that Shawn broke up with Izzy. So Shawn broke up with her with everyone watching. Izzy was heartbroken. The next day at school, everyone was trying to lift up Izzy's spirits but then Izzy saw that Tricia was wearing a sweater that Izzy had given to Shawn as a Christmas gift. Izzy went over and asked him why and he said that she just took it out of his room, he didn't even know that she had it. He was being all charming and trying to reel Izzy back in. to his web by playing the victim. Izzy started to play into it. That night, the girls had a movie night but Izzy just wasn't into it so she went home. Vivi, basically the leader of the group, thought of a plan. Her and Lane would make a fake Myspace profile named Brandon and make everything what Izzy would want in a guy, just to get her mind off a Shawn because she was texting him again. They made the profile and added Izzy, they started talking to her on IM. "Brandon" started asking her why she was stressed and such and she said because she wasn't sure if she should ask her ex, Shawn, to prom even though he cheated on her. She said she always dreamed of them going together. They talk a little bit more and they start to get to know each other, they have a lot in common because her 2 best friends know her best and made him the perfect guy for Izzy. The next day, Izzy was kinda happy. They figured it was kind of from Brandon. After school, the 3 girls hung out again and Izzy burst in to Vivi's house crying. She found out Shawn asked Tricia to prom. OMG. The girls all go to Izzy's house that night and were really surprised when an IM from Brandon popped up because the girls weren't at home, but it turned out to be Vivi's little brother, Marshall. When Lane and Vivi leave, Vivi thinks of a plan. Lane is a little reluctant because Vivi's plans usually go bad...
