Why ?

This blog is being made and being added to over the course of "9 Friday's" as Ms. Clemons (the new english teacher) has told us. The first book I'm going to start to read is Insatiable by Meg Cabot. The public library just got it in and I'm going to have to keep it from them for even a longer time and I've already re-checked it out, they're gonna hate me. Well, hopefully the book is good, and hopefully I can become interested in this book and not give up on it. Wish me luck and remember; these words are to live by :)

My second book is Nothing But Trouble by Rachel Gibson and hopefully it's a good book. Just by reading the back it seems like it's going to be good so we'll cross our fingers.

I interjected a little bit of Nothing But Trouble, and now I'm just writing about Dead Until Dark. If I need more pages after I've finished with that one, then I'll write about Nothing But Trouble again.

In the next couple days, Jason was out. Sam came by Sookie's house to tell her that they were arresting Jason for the murders as soon as he came to. As soon as Sookie found this out, she called Bill. Blood in the Quarter, the hotel that Bill's staying at, and left a message telling him to come home as soon as his business was finished. Sookie called Sid Matt Lancaster, Jason's lawyer, and told him about it, he tried to sound surprised.  Sid Matt came over later and Sookie told him that even if she could justify that Jason killed those women, she couldn't justify that he killed their grandmother. She's convinced that Jason was set up. That night, Sookie was kinda bored so she sat down with some ice cream and a movie. When Sookie went to bed, she woke with a startle to a shreik outside her bedroom window and then Bubba's voice following, "Come back here, Sucker!" Sookie rushed outside to the porch and asked who it was that was screaming. Bubba said that there was someone sneaking around the house and before he could catch him and see who he was, he ran. He had a pickup truck parked behind the cemetary. The next day, Sookie posted bond for Jason and it cost a fortune. He had never been arrested before so, it all worked out. That night Sookie had to work. She looked through every person's mind that walked into the bar but no one was thinking about the murders. Rene and Hoyt came in, but walked right back out when they saw Sookie was working. Sam sent her home because she was scaring the customers away. Sookie got home, took a shower and got ready for bed and movie. Over the running water of the sink, Sookie heard a yowl outside. She turned off the water and listened intently for more -- silence. She went to the door and called for Bubba, twice, but no answer. She knew someone was prowling outside. What should she do? Call the police? Good idea, but the phone's were dead. She decided to leave the house and take cover in the woods and go to Bill's. She grabbed the key to Bill's house, a pocket knife and went to go retrieve the rifle in the hall closet when she found it was gone! The person had been in her house.. and stole her rifle. But her house hadn't been broken into? But Sookie thought back and thought of how many people had been in her house over the past couple of months. They had had Gran's funeral, Andy Bellefleur slept there, Sam spent the night, and the list goes on. Sookie crept out the back and duck-walked over to her car, then to the trees but scraped her thigh on a stump she fell over. She ran to the woods but someone crashed through the trees next to her. She knew she was being chased so she grabed onto a branch and swung herself up and onto the tree branch. All of a sudden, a man walked underneath it, ligature in hand. After he walked by, Sookie swung herself down and started making her way through the woods towards the road. She first saw the dead cat, a gaping, bloody wound in it's throat and that she saw Bubba, either unconcious or dead. She hoped unconcious. She heard a twig behind her and dashed behind a tree. She might not have a rifle, but she had another tool to use against her enemy, her mind. She reached out with her mind and hit this wall of dark tangle, red, black. Hate. Then she saw Dawn, asking someone to punch her then realizing he had her hose in his hand, Maudette, naked and begging, and a girl Sookie didn't recognize with welts and bruises on her back. Then, her grandmother, in her kitchen, fighting for her life. Then she saw an image of herself that she didn't recognize. She was pale, with gaping holes in her neck, patting the inside of her thigh suggestively. She was inside Rene's mind, this was how Rene saw her. All of a sudden, she saw him seeing an outline behind a tree, trying to see if it was Sookie or not. He was seeing her! She ran towards the cemetary, unable to hear his thoughts because she was concentrating on not falling. She ran behind a headstone and clamped a hand on her mouth to silence her heavy breathing. She had a clear plan come to mind and she asked Rene, "How's your sister Cindy? Is she still alive?" And she heard Rene reply, "You bitch!" Then all of a sudden, it came clear as day. His sister was the first one that he killed, the one who also loved vampires. Whenever he said he was going to visit her, he killed more women. He hated girls who dated vampires, they were scum, he thought they all should die. After he killed Cindy, strangled her with her apron strings, he had had sex with her. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
Sookie was so sucked into Rene's mind that she hadn't heard him come up behind her. His first blow, broke her nose, his second, her collarbone. But she didn't fall, she hit back but her blow was ineffectual because she was so weak. Sookie grabbed his ears and tried to smash his head on the headstone next to her, but he grabbed her forearms. She tried to knee him, but he anticipated it and he knocked her down on the ground. Rene was all of a sudden on top of her, holding her neck, trying to find his ligature because he'd lost it in the struggle. Rene was still in his work clothes and Sookie felt around until she found the knife that he kept in his belt. She unsnapped it just as he was thinking he should've taken it off. She sank the knift into his flesh, angling up. He stood up and was screaming at Sookie. Sookie was crouched down with the knift, waiting for him to charge again. When he fell, and she was sure he wasn't getting back up again, she walked to Bill's house, turned the key, pressed the big numbers "911" and then collapsed.
