I totally have figured out this book already.

I've now read from pages 202-320. So I'm pretty sure I left off with the fact that Lucien has asked Meena out on another date to go to the symphony. Meena meets up with Mary Lou in the elevator who agrees to lend her a vintage dress. What Meena doesn't know yet though is that Lucien has to cancel their date because he has to investigate the murders of 3 women in Manhattan. Well, while Meena is crying in her apartment, she gets a package from Lucien of the tote bag she wanted that's ruby red with a dragon on it. She figures he couldn't of known this unless he read her mind, but she pushes that thought away. Anywho, her brother, Jon, goes to get a movie and some food when she gets another "delivery" and he turns out to be Alaric Wulf, the vampire slayer from The Palatine Guard. He wants Meena to tell him where Lucien is so he can go kill him but Meena won't reveal that because she has a vision that if Alaric and Jon (who wants to be a vampire hunter now too) go after Lucien, they'll die, Lucien will kill them both. But, Lucien flies up as a bat to Meena's room and he drinks her blood for the second time. In the morning, Alaric realizes that Lucien was there last night and he'd been so close to being able to kill him, but didn't know he was there at the time. When I first started the book, Meena had just got on a subway and saw this girl Yalena. She predicted how she was going to die, so she gave her her card and told her to call if she got into trouble. Well, going back to the present. Meena gets a call and it's Yalena and she agrees to meet her and pick her up but of course Alaric and Jon have to come with too. Well, they're sitting in Shenanigans, a restaurant, and they both almost get taken, but Alaric saves them both. I'll post more!
