Why ?

This blog is being made and being added to over the course of "9 Friday's" as Ms. Clemons (the new english teacher) has told us. The first book I'm going to start to read is Insatiable by Meg Cabot. The public library just got it in and I'm going to have to keep it from them for even a longer time and I've already re-checked it out, they're gonna hate me. Well, hopefully the book is good, and hopefully I can become interested in this book and not give up on it. Wish me luck and remember; these words are to live by :)

My second book is Nothing But Trouble by Rachel Gibson and hopefully it's a good book. Just by reading the back it seems like it's going to be good so we'll cross our fingers.

I interjected a little bit of Nothing But Trouble, and now I'm just writing about Dead Until Dark. If I need more pages after I've finished with that one, then I'll write about Nothing But Trouble again.

Sookie drank Bill's blood and within a couple hours, she looked different, healthier. Bill comes back after feeding on someone else and picks her up to take her to Eric at Fangtasia. When they get there, she finds out that Eric wants to use her “gift” to see what employee of his and Pam's (his business partner, and part-owner of the bar) stole $60,000 from them. The first employee they bring in is Bruce. Sookie reads his mind and she sees that Bruce didn't take the money, nor does he know who did. So they bring in a waitress, Ginger, next. Ginger didn't take it, but she does know who did. She can't picture his face thought because he's put some kind of hypnosis on her when he bit her. So we know for sure that the stealer is a vampire. So they bring in her closest friend, Belinda. Belinda knows and she pictures the bartender, Long Shadow. Long Shadow knows and as soon as Sookie as time to tell everyone, he jumps on her and bites her arm. He's ready to kill her when someone behind him, stakes him on top of Sookie. Some of his blood falls into her mouth. But then she's pulled out from under him. Very fast, Bill drags Sookie out of there and into his car and they're on their way home.
In the next couple days, Sookie realized she was ready to take a break from vampires for a while. She did realize that her hair was lighter, and she was stronger and faster. When Sookie was at work, everyone was asking if she got highlights. When she was cutting lemons and limes for drinks, she cut them really fast, like really fast. Within 3 seconds after she brought them out of the fridge. Throughout work, Sookie kept listening to everyone's minds that came in to see if they were thinking about the murders or not. Sookie went home, took a nap, watered some flowers, and decided to go back to Merlotte's for dinner and a drink. When she walked in, she was surprised to find Jason at the bar and an empty stool next to him. Sookie sat down and had a drink with him, he payed. That's when, after Sookie got a little tipsy, Bill walked in with a human girl, a fang-banger. After some talking, they figured out that Eric left this human girl, Desiree, on Bill's doorstep as a “thank you” for bringing Sookie down to read minds for him. Bill doesn't want her, he only wants Sookie. So he has Jason take her home. Jason knew her back when she liked humans. He “knew” her. Sookie tells Bill to meet her at the pond behind her parent's house. They start talking about how many times Sookie has drank blood from vampires. She finds out that the more blood she drinks, the more desirable she is to other vampires, she's called “vintage.” Bill followed Sookie home and made sure she got down her drive safely before he left for home. As soon as Sookie ran into her house, she heard a loud thud on the door. She called Bill right away and told him someone was outside. Bill searched the yard and the surrounding forests but found nothing but some footprints. The thud was Tina, Sookie's cat. She was strangled.
