Why ?

This blog is being made and being added to over the course of "9 Friday's" as Ms. Clemons (the new english teacher) has told us. The first book I'm going to start to read is Insatiable by Meg Cabot. The public library just got it in and I'm going to have to keep it from them for even a longer time and I've already re-checked it out, they're gonna hate me. Well, hopefully the book is good, and hopefully I can become interested in this book and not give up on it. Wish me luck and remember; these words are to live by :)

My second book is Nothing But Trouble by Rachel Gibson and hopefully it's a good book. Just by reading the back it seems like it's going to be good so we'll cross our fingers.

I interjected a little bit of Nothing But Trouble, and now I'm just writing about Dead Until Dark. If I need more pages after I've finished with that one, then I'll write about Nothing But Trouble again.

Sookie couldn't put it off much longer, she called Bud Dearborne, the detective working on the murders. She told him about Tina and how she was strangled. Bud starts asking if the strangle weapon was still on Tina when they found her. After Sookie gets off the phone, Arlene asks her if she wants to babysit her kids while her and Rene go to a movie, Sookie agrees. A little bit later, Sookie goes home and changes and such, eats a sandwich and was relieved when Rene and the kids drove up because she was lonely and bored. She and the kids start talking and she tells them that Bill might be coming over later to watch a movie. They start asking if he's bought her flowers and how many dates they've been on and Bill chooses that moment to knock. Then the kids (I never said their names – Colby and Lisa) start asking Bill the questions and the night was off and running. Bill and the kids were going strong until about 11 when Rene and Arlene came to pick them up. Sookie introduced them to Bill and they were fine, no hard feelings. Then, out of the blue, another vampire walked up. He had black hair, combed into a wavy style, wearing old jeans and an "I Visited Graceland" T-shirt and he had a see-through squirt bottle of synthetic blood that he carried with him and took sips from, how nice. Sookie thought he looked really familiar and so did Rene and Arlene for their mouths would not stop gaping at him. That's when Sookie realized who it was -- The King himself, the man from Memphis, Sookie's jaw dropped. Bill introduced him as Bubba and said he was to be called that. Bill took Sookie inside to explain why he was there. Bill confirmed that it was indeed Elvis and he was to be called Bubba, he hated being called Elvis because something had screwed with his brain when he was transformed into a vampire from human. He liked to eat pets and he would be watching Sookie while Bill went out of town to New Orleans for a little while on business. Bubba would be there at night, watching in the woods.
The next day at work of course Arlene had to ask about Bubba and all the girls got starry-eyed over the fact that Bill had got a body guard for Sookie while he was away. During this conversation, Rene's sister, Cindy, was brought up because Merlotte's was becoming understaffed and they were looking for new people to work. Sam brought her up because he knew she didn't have steady jobs where she lived. Sam asked Sookie to look through the files and see whose applications were all there and who should be considered for a job. So Sookie separated them all in piles of moved, employed elsewhere, good material, people she couldn't stand to work with, and deceased. Amy Burley was on the top of the good material pile and so Sam said he'd check into it. Sookie went home and after a while, she got extremely bored. She called Jason, then called Merlotte's to see if he was there, he wasn't. After a little while, Merlotte's called back and said Jason was there now and he wanted to buy Sookie a drink. Sookie headed down there but Terry (the person who took over when Sam wasn't there) said he never called and Jason wasn't there. Sookie was a little worried, but headed back out. When she walked out of the employee exit, she saw a collie sitting outside. She felt sorry for the dog and decided to take him home. On the way there, she was thinking outloud of names to call the dog. The dog would bark when it didn't like a name. They'd both settled on Dean when they got back to Sookie's house and after Sookie fed him, they went to bed. Sookie wanted Dean to sleep on the floor, but Dean jumped on the bed and was indignant about staying there. In the morning, Sookie felt Dean beside her, then she felt his arm fall on her. HIS ARM? Sookie jumped out of bed and found Sam naked laying there. This is when Sam told her that he was a shapeshifter and could change into any animal he sees before he changes at the full moon. He usually changes into a collie. He got worried when he heard that Sookie would be alone, so he stayed with her through the night.
